After the first performance we walked with Mary and Bert, like always and then the Pearly Band was coming and Bert made way for them and then he started walking like the last Pearly Band member and started walking next to him until the Pearly Band left and they stayed to tell us they’ll see us later :)

I got good ones that came out either blurry or just plain dumb… Ugh. These are the best from the first performance :)

I felt bad because in the first performance there wasn’t a lot of people watching it and if they did they would stay a few minutes and then leave and at one point when Mary is dancing with Bert she turns to me and tells me “why are all the people leaving” and I just felt so bad … I watched both of them because they’re both absolutely amazing :)

I love this shot because Bert was waiting for his cue. And I like that you can see Mary in the background and the little girl looking at him. 

Mini story about walking down Main St. with Bert♥♥♥

So, as Bert came out I talked to him in Main St. one of the girls I was with made Mary and Bert sign a photo she had sketched and made Bert close his eyes. He signed it and they talked. After, he walked and I was walking beside him and he was waving at people and talking to me at the same time.

Then I asked him if he was excited about the opening of Mary’s Cafe and he said he was and that he wishes they’ll let him be there often when it opens.

After one of the girls I was hanging out with came and joined us and ask Bert what his favorite ride was and I knew which one it was and I said, “Oh, I know” and Bert looked over to me and smiled and was waiting for me to say it and when I did he smiled and winked. Then he walked towards a soda stand and I said “it’s recycled” meaning that they save the water and that’s why they use fake ice. And he winked again…

After, I walked more with Bert and talked and then he noticed that Mary was about to leave and told me “I can go around another lap here and still make it before Mary leaves” and then I smiled and he went, it was the funniest thing ever! :)

He would’ve made it on time but he got distracted with guests and when he was done that’s what he told me. Then we took a picture before he left and he went to the doors, waved, winked, waved again and then left.
